This modern quirky boys room was created for a very trendy 10 year old who has a passion for all things boys - including drums, soccer, football, cricket and inspirational quotes! The color scheme of denim and black with splashes of red was a great color palette to work with and really gave the room cohesion with a modern feel. I re-covered the bed head which matched in well with the existing curtains. The lolly tins with chalk board tags were created for the shelving unit above his desk as decoration - strict instructions in regards to opening these have been emphasised!

Sometimes keeping the room simple and smart can really create a calmness in the room - and that's exactly what you want with a new born baby! I started off with a blank canvass for this room (my favourite!) and worked within the dreamy blue and fresh white color scheme that my client wanted.

My brief for my clients daughter's room was 'Keep it fresh' - and I think I have achieved just that. The fabulous contrast of bright and light pinks combined with red is a new favourite of mine and gives the room a really contemporary feel. What girl wouldn't want this room!!!

I had so much fun re-designing this room - the existing blue wall was much paler and so I changed it to a warmer blue which looks much more inviting and friendly. The cool contrast color of apple green with the warm blues makes the room look really modern and fun - just perfect for the cool funky little boy who lives there!

Amber's (initials A.L) room looks so adorable - it's inspired by the beautiful fabrics designed by Amy Butler. The stand out piece of the room is the amazing quilt and sham set which I had custom made - the second photo shows the beautiful colors of the patchwork quilt and how they compliment each other. The final look below ...
